How to help a village
acquire a Platform

The MULTIFUNCTIONAL PLATFORM FEATURED DURING AN EXTRAORDINARY WORLD CONCERT

«On October 9, 1999, more than two dozen of the world's leading musical artists performed simultaneously in London, Geneva and New York to draw attention to world poverty and a powerful new tool to fight it - the Internet. The artists pooled their fame to drive massive traffic to the most extraordinary website ever built.

Their mission? To help educate the global public to the problems faced by poor communities and the means by which organizations and individuals, can bring about dramatic reductions in world poverty in our lifetime. This is a message one doesn't expect to hear at a rock concert. But these were not ordinary concerts or ordinary musicians who shared their energy and commitment.

In one evening, the artists played to an audience of millions. More than 100,000 people attended the concerts. Hundreds of thousands of homes and villages north and south of the equator tuned in on television and radio, and 2.4 million people logged on to received a live webcast. The Netaid.org website has taken more than 40 million hits from 160 countries and built a platform for massive partnership and change.»
